French Toast

Ingredients

• 4 slices of bread (brioche or challah work best)
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• Pinch of salt
• 1 tbsp butter
• Fresh blueberries
• Sliced banana
• Maple syrup

Instructions

1. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl until fully combined.
2. Pour mixture into a shallow dish and dip each slice of bread, coating both sides without soaking too long.
3. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until melted and lightly bubbling.
4. Cook bread for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
5. Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining slices.
6. Serve warm with blueberries, sliced banana, and maple syrup.
