How Mentionlink Works¶
You add the Mentionlink plugin to your website once. When a visitor opens a page, the plugin sends its text and images to Mentionlink, which finds the products mentioned or shown and matches each one to an affiliate program, such as Amazon Associates, Fanatics, Lids or any other program you use. The plugin then turns those mentions into affiliate links and adds clickable hotspots to your images, right in the visitor's browser, without changing your content.
Why Mentionlink Works¶
Linking products by hand takes time, and a link picked once has to suit every visitor. Mentionlink picks the link for each visitor instead: it sends them to the store in their own country and takes into account that prices vary by location, with over 40,000 ZIP codes in the US alone. You get well-rated recommendations either way, with far less effort.
